A Single Binary Who-To-Whom Matrix

前几天看论文,是关于社会网络局部和整体的网络中心性度量方法的。其中前提是用到了“who-to-whom”矩阵。

A who to whom matrix analyzes interaction between a group of people. Say you are working with a group of three people. You set up a box with three columns and three rows. You label the columns with person 1, person 2, person 3 and then label the rows going down as person 1, person 2, and person 3. The columns will represent who talks and the rows will represent who they talk to. Therefore if person 1 talks to person 2, you will go to person one's column and go down to the person 2 row and put a mark. Since conversations move very quickly it will be hard to get every communication. The results should be ceterus peribus (all other things being equal) amount initiated equals amount received.
